Yes. Its true, the person that started the MRA now owns a Kawasaki ZRX 1100. I still believe that the Magna is the best cruiser and one of the best motorcycles ever built! Its just that I needed a change. I had owned the Magna longer than any vehicle ever, 6 ½ years, and I needed to change. Heres a picture of my new ZRX

That's no Magna, Wayne!!

I'm married to a Wonderful woman named Missy, and live in Salem, Indiana, 30 miles North West of Louisville, KY. I was born and raised in Louisville, but moved to Indiana due to a change in jobs. I currently work for the Department of Defense at Crane Naval Surface Warfare Center as a Sheet Metal Mechanic.

I started the MRA because there weren't any organizations dedicated to the Honda Magna and I believed that there needed to be. A motorcycle as great as the Magna deserves some attention!

I started riding at the age of 15 on a Honda XR 200 dirt bike. At the age of 22 I bought my first street bike, a new 1987 Honda 700 Shadow. In 1990 I started racing ATV's, unfortunately Honda didn't make a racing ATV then, so I bought a 1990 Yamaha Blaster and went completely through it. Here's a shot of me playing around on a track.

That's also no Magna, Wayne!!

I sold my Shadow in 1990 and bought a used 1982 Honda CB1000C. Boy, talk about a difference in power! But in '94 I wanted a new motorcycle and started my quest for the perfect bike. I originally wanted a Harley Davidson 1200 Sportster Deluxe. But when I found out about the year and a half wait, I went to the local Honda shop. Then it happened, I fell in love with this beautiful motorcycle, the Magna! Looking back I'm very pleased that Harleys' had a waiting list!!
