There is a scam going where buyers offer to send a check of $4000-$5000 over the asking price for big ticket items. On this site, that means primarily Magnas for sale. The MO is to send a "bank" check with the request to wire back the remainder of the sum after you have shipped the bike. The check, however, is a forgery leaving the seller with all costs and out of the item sold. Some of the scammers are even bold enough to make direct contact if you ignore their e-mails.
